CONKER ® 100 ( Betaine Hydrate ) is an alkaloid of raw materials of cosmetics, a white scaly or prismatic crystalline powder with a slight characteristic odour and strong hygroscopic properties. Betaine hydrate can be extracted from the roots, stems, leaves and fruits of natural plants or chemically synthesized by using trimethylamine and chloroacetic acid as the raw materials.
Betaine molecule has three effective methyl, neutral, melting point up to 200 ℃, very soluble in water, soluble in methanol, soluble in ethanol, difficult to dissolve in ether. Betaine hydrate is suitable for all kinds of personal care products (masks, creams, cleansers, shampoos, hair care, etc.high moisturizing), especially for baby products.
